Dian Gomes is a prominent Sri Lankan business leader, diplomat, and sports advocate, currently serving as the Honorary Consul of Georgia in Sri Lanka. He is the former Chairman of Hela Clothing and a former Group Director of MAS Holdings. A seasoned finance professional, Dian is a Fellow of CIMA (UK), ACCA (UK), and CPA (Australia), with executive education from Wharton, Ashridge, and Harvard Business Schools.

Beyond the corporate world, Dian has played a transformative role in Sri Lanka’s sporting landscape. He led the Boxing Association of Sri Lanka across two terms, was Vice President of the National Olympic Committee, and served as Chef de Mission at the 2008 Beijing Olympics. In 2013, he became the first Sri Lankan appointed to the Commonwealth Advisory Body on Sport. Widely recognized for his leadership and public service, he has received numerous accolades, including the national title “Sri Lanka Sikhamani” and international awards in both business and sports.
